Embracing HTTPS at ClickView

Embracing HTTPS at ClickView
We are excited to announce that we shall be enabling and enforcing HTTPS for all ClickView customers from the beginning of February 2019. ClickView has supported HTTPS for a long time, but due to some schools and institutions not being able to access HTTPS, we previously allowed customers to opt out. Implementing HTTPS is a significant milestone as we take every necessary step to ensure that your data is fully encrypted whenever you use ClickView. (more…)

How to find new videos from the latest ClickView Content Updates

How to find new videos from the latest ClickView Content Updates
Earlier this week, I posted an article about schools missing out on many library content updates, the reasons why this happened, and how we set out to resolve that for schools. The recent ClickView changes enable us to reliably deliver new video content to your school as fast as possible. No more missing videos. This in turn saves time for librarians so they can now concentrate on ensuring their teachers find the right resources for their classes. In this article, I want to quickly explain a couple of ways in which librarians and teachers can…

Delivering the latest high quality video content into your classrooms

Delivering the latest high quality video content into your classrooms
At ClickView, our core focus has and always will be to enrich classroom learning experiences for teachers while saving time for librarians. In February, we made some changes to ClickView to ensure reliable delivery of new videos to teachers while facilitating the work of librarians. To understand these changes we need to look back at how ClickView previously made new content available. Schools who have been with ClickView for a long time will remember receiving DVDs containing new content from ClickView, which were then replaced by USB drives, and then finally via “a push” to…

Let’s Get Personal – New Release, ClickView v5.9

In fact, just a week ago, I sat down and had a face-to-face chat at the ClickView office with two flipped teachers about ClickView flipped channels. That one-hour meeting was extremely valuable because again we received direct feedback from educators and their suggestions have now influenced how we will further develop the product. (more…)
